Le Roux began his career in 1993 in South Africa working in the mining, logistics, transport and FMCG sectors before leaving to take up a post in Sierra Leone in 2004 with African Minerals. He later worked with Sierra Rutile as well as the then Addax Bioenergy as HR Manager.

Le Roux holds a degree in Industrial Psychology and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Management in the UK. In 2008, Le Roux left Sierra Leone to take up a position in the Middle East in the oil and gas industry before returning to Sierra Leone in 2009.

Le Roux now lives in the United Kingdom and in November 2020 took up the position as Business Operations Manager for Miro Forestry and Timber Products.

Mohamed Turay took over as treasurer in 2020 to over see the finances of the Association. Mohamed is the Financial Manager of Miro Forestry.

Patrick was the Managing Director of Sierra Tropical SL. Patrick has extensive experience in pineapple growing and marketing spending a considerable amount of time in the Philippines. Patrick assisted the Association in the lobbying and creating an improved enabling environment for the commercial agricultural sector to flourish in Sierra Leone. In October 2021 Patrick retired and is a consultant to Sierra Tropical SL.

Philip came to Sierra Leone in 2012 and developed the Socfin agricultural oil palm plantation from a green field project, planting 12,340 ha, installing a 60MT oil palm mill and taking it to a profitable enterprise producing over 50,000MT of palm oil. Philip then embarked on an 18 month project for the Socfin Group in Liberia before returning in 2025 to Sierra Leone on a long term consultancy project for Planting Naturals who have several organic oil palm plantations around the country and over 7,200 small holder farmers.

Philip is the co-founder of the Association and helped develop the Association as it stands today which is now recognized as an important entity, developing, lobbying and creating an improved enabling environment for the commercial agricultural sector to flourish in Sierra Leone. He served two terms as Chairman. Philip continues to manage the CAPPA website for the Association and serves as an advisor to the Association.

Bheki was the General Manager of Sunbird until November 2017 and was a co-founder of the Association. He was instrumental in bringing together the commercial agriculture sector and harnessing the strength of many companies to come together with one voice. Bheki left Sunbird to take up a personal farming venture back in his country of birth, Zimbabwe.
